Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 400ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1cm piece of turmeric
  • 3cm piece of ginger
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

If you like your smoothies cold, freeze your bananas ahead of making or add a few ice cubes to the mix.

Method

1. Peel your bananas and add them to your Nutribullet along with the almond milk and coconut oil. Peel your turmeric and ginger. Crush the seeds from your cardamom pods, along with the black peppercorns.
2. Add all the turmeric, ginger, cardamom, pepper and cinnamon and blitz till smooth. Drink straight away and if you have any left over you can freeze it as an ice lolly.
