Sustainably-sourced by Celtic Coast and traditionally smoked by Alfred Enderby, this is smoked haddock perfection.
The artisanal nature of the smoking process has earned this haddock PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status, as well as a prestigious two stars from the Guild of Fine Foods in 2018. The reason? Well they’ve been smoking fish in the same traditional tall, brick chimneys on the Humber Estuary for over a century. Over the years a rich, tannin-like build-up has been created, which infuses beautifully through the fish in a 12-16 hour, overnight process. They say good things come to those who wait, and in the case of this smoked haddock, they’re certainly not wrong. It has an MCS rating of 3.

Celtic Coast Fish Company was started by two former fishmongers Nick and Gareth, who wanted to source wonderful, fresh fish in the right way: sustainably and responsibly. They have good links with UK fish markets from Cornwall to Scotland, but also work with fishers in and around Wales and Ireland.

Storage & prep

Smoked haddock is perfect for a kedgeree, and also makes a great addition to pasta dishes. It should be refrigerated upon delivery.

We guarantee that your fish will have at least 3 days before its expiry date, including the day of your delivery. Suitable for home freezing.
