Alara began with founder Alex Smith’s discovery of a fateful £2 on the street back in 1975. They went on to become the first cereal company to be certified organic in 1988 and the first UK food company to be Zero Waste in 2008. Not bad for a few quid.

Storage & prep

Store in a cool, dry place and after opening fold down the inner bag to keep contents fresh. For best results see the base of the pack.

To serve: Serve with the milk of your choice or water. Alternatively, our muesli taste delicious soaked for a few minutes (or overnight in the fridge) and served with yogurt.
