This is a red that blends 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, making it a powerful, weighty and dense wine. It has sweet hints of plum and red berries on the nose, and a ripe palate is finished off with spicy fruit. While it ages beautifully, it will serve you just as well if you drink it young.

From a secluded magical organic plot, with old terroir under the mountainous 'Dentelles of Montmirail' in the Vacqueyras, these blends of Syrah and Grenache are a harmonious combination of rich, ripe black fruits with black pepper spice. The owner Henri has lovely gites with breathtaking views for hire too from where you can walk over the hill to Gigondas for lunch. We're very, very tempted...
