When it comes to organic potatoes, Arran Victory rules the roasty. A heritage variety first grown on the Ilse of Arran over a century ago, its flesh is the perfect flouriness for drizzling with oil and leaving to crisp up in the oven. These are the tatties favoured by Andrew Skea – our man up north – for his Christmas dinner roast potato, and we’re inclined to take his word for it. He’s been growing organic spuds for over 30 years, after all.

These potatoes are grown by "Organic Dan" Geity on Home Farm, in Ormskirk. Farming from a gorgeous part of the country, Dan's a laid back, salt of the earth chap who grows fantastic onions, potatoes and lots of other veg for us throughout the year.
