Power Porridge with Banana, Apricots & Cashew Butter

A warm bowl of creamy porridge is the perfect way to kick-start your day, and if you fuel up with this energising mix of oats, milk, and velvety banana, you'll be all set to power through, bolstered by a rich dollop of cashew nut butter and a sweet drizzle of organic honey.


  • 1 banana
  • 25g dried whole apricots
  • 40g quick porridge oats
  • 250ml full cream milk
  • 1 tsp cashew nut butter
  • 1 tsp honey

1. Peel and roughly chop the banana. Roughly chop the dried apricots.
2. Tip the porridge oats into a small pan. Add ¾ of the banana and pour in the milk. Put the pan on a medium heat and gently warm, stirring, for 3-5 mins till thick and creamy.
3. Spoon the porridge into a bowl. Top with the remaining banana and the chopped apricots, and finish with a spoonful of cashew nut butter and a drizzle of honey. Eat straight away.
