Pear & Blueberry Thickie

Thickies are smoothies that are extra rich and filling. This fruity thickie is made with juicy berries, sweet pears and banana whizzed with Greek style yogurt to make a cool, creamy breakfast drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 125g blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 150g Greek style yogurt

Method

1. Quarter the pears and slice out the cores. Roughly chop the pears. Tip them into a blender with the blueberries. Peel and break in the banana. Spoon in the yogurt.
2. Add a few ice cubes and 100ml cold water. Blitz till smooth, adding more water if you would prefer a thinner smoothie. Pour into glasses and serve straight away.
