Melon Chilli Blast Smoothie

Cool melon and hazelnut drink spiked with a pinch of cayenne pepper make for a creamy, dreamy tropical smoothie.


  • ½-1 melon
  • 2 oranges
  • A pinch or two of cayenne pepper
  • 250ml hazelnut drink
  • A few ice cubes

1. Halve the melon, scoop out the seeds from 1 half, then scoop the flesh out of the skin and add to your blender. If you've got a big blender, you can use all the melon to make a jug of smoothie.
2. Add a pinch or two of cayenne pepper (cayenne is very spicy, so use as much or little as you prefer).
3. Pour in the hazelnut drink and add a few ice cubes. Blitz till smooth. Pour the smoothie into glasses and top with extra sprinkles of cayenne before serving.
