Method
1. Line a small freezerproof tray with baking paper. Peel and halve the bananas. Push a lolly stick into the cut end of each banana half, making sure it's pushed in halfway into each banana. Place the banana pops on the baking tray and freeze for 20 mins.
2. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate buttons. You can pop them in a microwaveproof bowl or mug and cook on high in 10 second blasts, stirring between each blast, till melted. Or half-fill a small pan of water. Pop the buttons into a heatproof bowl that sits snuggly over the top of the pan. Warm over a medium heat, making sure the water doesn't boil or touch the base of the bowl. Stir the buttons till they're smoothly melted.
3. Chop 2-3 dark chocolate buttons into shards – these will be your ghosts' eyes and mouth.
4. Take the frozen bananas out of the freezer. Dip 1 banana in the melted white chocolate, turning it and using a teaspoon to make sure it is coated in the chocolate. Place on the baking tray and press 3 shards of dark chocolate onto the banana to make 2 eyes and a mouth. Repeat with the remaining bananas.
5. Slide back into the freeer for at least 30 mins. The BOOnanas are ready to eat straight away. To store them, transfer to a freezerproof tub, using layers of baking paper to separate them. They'll keep for 1 week.
