Apple, Oat & Raisin Smoothie

When apples, oats and raisins aren’t teaming up in a crumble a muesli bowl, they’re hopping into your blender to make a sensational smoothie, rich with cashews and topped up with a creamy splash of almond drink.

  • 3 apples
  • 20g oats
  • 25g raisins
  • 35g cashews
  • 330ml Ultimate Almond Drink
  • A few ice cubes

1. Cut the apples into quarters , slice out the cores and pop the apples into your blender. Tip in the oats, raisins and cashews.
2. Pour in 330ml Ultimate Almond Drink and drop in a handful of ice cubes. Blend till smooth, then pour into glasses and serve.

I tried this as part of a smoothie box. It came out tasting like Bircher muesli, so probably best made without the blender as part of actual Bircher muesli.....
