Producer

Jo Wright and her team at Organic Blooms work hard to bring organic flowers to your door. Based in Gloucestershire, they run as a social enterprise, providing jobs for those who might struggle in a traditional workplace. Horticultural therapy is at the heart of what they do – gardening and plant-tending being excellent options for those with varying support needs. We work with them to plan upcoming crops, making sure each flower is reliable, interesting and satisfying for their staff to grow. We’re proud to say that, because of our support, they’ve been able to hire more people than ever before.

Storage & prep

Open straight away and water well. Your plant will arrive in a biodegradable wood-pulp pot, you can keep it inside this pot for a little while but it will start to break down once you've watered it a few times. You can either pot it on or plant it out inside the pot, give it a good soak first and it will slowly break down allowing the roots to grow outwards. Or you can tip it out of the pot to pot it on and compost or reuse the wood-pulp pot.
