Every meal begins on the chopping board, and this handmade, London plane, beauty is the perfect starting place. For each one sold, we’ll donate £20 to the Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT), who have made these exquisite chopping boards possible.
As part of their work supporting people through addiction and homelessness, SCT run the Restoration Station. Their focus is on upcycling and preventing many un-loved pieces of furniture going to landfill. Their trainees are given the satisfaction of creative work and improved confidence, by being providing a space to engage with new people in their walk-in shop. This supports on-going recovery, while preparing people to move on into work for a sustainable future.
