Method

1. The bash and squeeze: loosen the skin by rolling the fruit on a hard surface. In a seive, over a bowl, cut the fruit in half. Whack it with a wooden spoon. This is the fun bit. To get more juice, squeeze the jewelly seeds. Drink the juice, it's ace. Or reduce it down to a syrup to use in Middle Eastern dishes.
2. The wedge and pop: top and tail the fruit, then cut into wedges. Invert the wedges and the seeds will pop out. You may have to tease some stubborn ones out.
3. There you have it. Super foodie seeds and juice without a splattered kitchen.
