Banana Bread Smoothie

This swoon-worthy smoothie is crammed with creamy bananas, toffee-sweet dates and nutty sesame, delicately spiced with cinnamon and blended with almond milk for a cool energy boost.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 25g sesame seeds
  • 2 Medjool dates
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 330ml almond milk
  • A large cupful of ice

Method

1. Peel and chop the bananas. Halve the dates and discard the stones. Add everything into your blender with a large cupful of ice. Blend till smooth. Taste and add more cinnamon to taste.
2. Tip: For a creamier, colder smoothie, place your chopped bananas into a freezerproof bag or tub. Freeze for at least 6 hours to overnight before blending.
