Apple, Pear & Peanut Butter Smoothie

This smooth blend of orchard fruits and peanut butter makes creamy breakfast drink. Blended with oat drink and a pinch of cinnamon, it tastes like a fruity flapjack but is packed with whole fruit.

Ingredients

  • 300g apples
  • 300g pears
  • 1 banana
  • 40g peanut butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 500ml oat drink

Method

1. Quarter the apples and pears, then slice out the cores. Roughly chop the fruit and scoop them into your blender. Peel and break in the banana. Add the peanut butter and most of the cinnamon (save a pinch for garnishing).
2. Add a cupful of ice to the blender. Pour in 500ml of the oat drink. Blend till smooth. Pour into 2 large glasses. Dust with the remaining cinnamon and serve,
