Producer

The Port house of Fonseca originated in the 18th Century as the Fonseca & Monteiro Company although it didn’t begin exporting to England until 1847. Its organic reserve is a new enterprise for this world famous Port house and we’re delighted to play our part in their latest adventure!

Grapes* varieties: Douro / Portugal -(Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca ),Wine Spirit *, Tartaric Acid (E334), Sulphur Dioxide pure (E220). Contains Sulphites and egg protein due to production methods.

Storage & prep

Our port has been bottled for immediate drinking so there is no need to decant before serving. If served too warm, the alcohol in port will evaporate and interfere with the enjoyment of the wine. It works perfectly with a bit of stilton or our Perl Las blue cheese. Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Not suitable for home freezing.
