The friendly bunch of beans at Hodmedod’s are producing the most exciting beans and grains found in British soil. From ‘Red Fox’ Carlin peas and locally grown lentils, to yellow pea flour and Vaal Dahl, Hodmedod’s range of rustic pulses, seeds and grains are organic, nutritious and incredibly moreish.

Started by Nick Saltmarsh, Josiah Meldrum and William Hudson, Hodmedod came into being after the founding members ran a Great British Beans trial project to find out whether people were interested in buying indigenous beans. Luckily for us, there were plenty of keen beans around! Hodmedod’s now employs seven different farmers who grow a range of top quality pulses. By seeking out lesser-known ingredients like the delicious and versatile fava bean, Hodmedod’s is winning over minds and palates across the UK.
