2 x well rooted, garden-ready Delphinium 'Magic Fountain' plants in biodegradable pots.
These perennials are garden-ready and can be planted in a border or patio tub.
Delphiniums are a great mid or back of border plant and cut flower, but do need supporting. Cutting the flowers regularly will extend their flowering period.
These plants are hardy and should overwinter to flower again next year.
A note from the growers at Organic Blooms about this month’s July pack:
“Delphiniums are the archetypal cottage garden plant and one of our favourites at Organic Blooms. They are long-flowering if you keep cutting them, and we often find the smaller side shoots more useful than the giant terminal flower in our bouquets. The large spikes of flowers are great in a big glass vase as a stunning centre piece.
Delphiniums only need two important care tips really – keep an eye for slugs attacking new growth in the Spring and make sure you support the tall stems – either with wire hoops or netting. Other than that, they’re quite easy care.”
- Unpack plants as soon as you receive them, water them and place in a light position to recover from being transported
