Ingredients you'll need
  • 1 mini watermelon
  • 1 banana
  • 1 lime
  • A handful of basil, leaves only
From your kitchen
  • A few ice cubes
  • 250ml ice cold water

Step by step this way

    Quarter the watermelon and slice the flesh off the skin. Roughly chop the flesh and add it to your blender. Peel and break the banana in. Zest in the lime and squeeze in the juice.

    Add the basil leaves. Pour in 250ml ice-cold water and add a few ice cubes. Blend till smooth, pour into glasses and serve.

    Keep Your Cool
    Get ahead by preparing the melon in advance and popping it in to a freezer proof container. Freeze for at least 4 hrs then whizz with the other ingredients (you probably wont need ice cubes) for a cooler, speedier sip.
