Peel and break the banana into your blender. Trim and peel the beetroot, then roughly chop it and add to the blender. Slice a 1cm thick chunk off the ginger, chop it and add to the blender.
Halve the orange and squeeze in the juice from both halves. Halve the Medjool dates and remove the stone. Add the dates to the blender.
Pour in 330ml oat drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothies) and drop in a few ice cubes. Whizz till smooth and creamy. Taste, and if you'd liek a bit more ginger, add some and blend again. Pour into glasses and serve.
