Ingredients you'll need
  • 250g strawberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 lemon
  • 330ml tiger nut drink

Step by step this way

    Hull the strawberries and add them to your blender. Peel and break in the bananas. Grate in the lemon zest and juice in 1 half.

    Use a pestle and mortar, or the bottom of a jam jar, to open the cardamom pods. Discard the papery husks and roughly crush the black seeds. Add the cardamom seeds to the blender.

    Pour in 330ml tiger nut drink (save the rest of the carton for this week’s other smoothies). Add a handful of ice cubes and blitz till creamy and smooth. Taste and add a squeeze more lemon juice if you think it needs it. Pour into a couple of glasses and serve.
