Strawberry & Almond Shake

A vegan strawberry milkshake you don’t need to be vegan to go bananas for (there are, in fact, no bananas in this shake). It gets its creaminess from tiger nut drink (there are no tigers either), extra sweetness from Medjool dates, and flaked almonds for luxurious thickness. So scrumptious you won’t even miss the bananas or the tigers.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 250g strawberries
  • 2 Medjool dates
  • 35g flaked almonds
  • 330ml tiger nut drink
From your kitchen
  • A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

    Hull the strawberries, halve or quarter any large strawberries and pop them all in a blender. Pop the stones out of the dates, roughly chop the dates and add them to the blender.

    Tip in the flaked almonds. Pour in 330ml tiger milk drink and add a few ice cubes. Blitz for a few mins to blend. Pour into a couple of glasses and serve straight away.

    Get toasty
    For an extra nutty flavour, toast the flaked almonds in a dry frying pan for 2-3 mins till golden, then add them to the blender.
