Strawbeet Shake

Strawberries and beetroot are a perfect pink pairing. Both sweet, with a little earthiness, they blend up a treat with toffied Medjool dates and creamy Greek style yogurt.

Ingredients you'll need
- 1 beetroot
- 2 Medjool dates
- 225g strawberries
- ½ x 450g Greek style yogurt
From your kitchen
- A few ice cubes
- Cold water or milk, optional
Step by step this way

Trim, peel and roughly chop the beetroot and pop it in your blender. Pop the stones out of the dates and add the dates to the blender. Pull the green leaves off the strawberries. Add them to the blender with half the pot of Greek style yogurt (use the other half in your Nectarine Dream smoothie).

Add a few ice cubes to the blender, then blitz to make a thick smoothie. If it’s too thick for you, trickle in a little cold water or milk till you get the consistency you want.
