- 2 bananas
- 4 Medjool dates
- 35g cashews
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- ½ x 473ml coconut water
- Sea salt
- A few ice cubes

Peel the bananas and break them into chunks (see our tip below for how to make your smoothie into a frozen shake). Halve the dates and pop out the stones. Put the bananas, dates and cashews in your blender with a pinch of cinnamon and a small pinch of sea salt.

Pour in the coconut water and add a couple of ice cubes. Blitz till smooth, adding a splash of water if the smoothie seems too thick to you. Pour into 2 glasses and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon to serve.
- Tip
A nice long soak
If you have time, soak the cashews in water overnight. Drain, rinse and add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Soaking makes them easier to blend and may make them easier to digest. - Tip
Nice & freezey
For a thicker shake, peel and slice the bananas the night before, and freeze them. Add the frozen banana to the blender and skip the ice cubes.
