- 2 pomegranates
- 330ml oat drink
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp honey
- A few ice cubes
- Blender
- Measuring jug
- 1.
Halve the pomegranates. Hold a half in the palm of your hand, cut side down over a bowl. Using a wooden spoon, tap the pomegranate and the seeds should tumble out. Repeat with the remaining halves.
- 2.
Tip the pomegranate seeds into your blender and pour in 330ml oat drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothie recipes). Blitz for 1-2 mins, then pour the mixture through a sieve into a jug. The sieve will collect any tough pomegranate seed pulp. Press with the back of a wooden spoon to squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Discard the pomegranate seed pulp and pour the mixture back into your blender.
- 3.
Quarter the apple and slice out the core. Roughly chop the apple and add to the blender. Add 1 tbsp honey and a handful of ice cubes. Blitz, pour into glasses and serve.
