- ½ pineapple
- 1 orange
- 15g flax seeds
- 330ml tiger nut drink
From your kitchen
- A handful of ice cubes
You'll need

- Measuring jug
Step by step this way
- 1.
Trim the top off the pineapple and slice it in half, wrapping and storing 1 half in the fridge for another time (see our tip). Carve the skin off the remaining half and cut it into small chunks. Add the pineapple chunks to your blender.
- 2.
Zest in the orange in and squeeze in the juice. Tip in the flax seeds and pour in 330ml tiger nut drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothies). Add a few ice cubes then whizz together. Serve in tall, cool glasses.
- Tip
Like Pina Colada
You can add all the pineapple to this smoothie if you like but it will affect the nutritional info. Alternatively cut the remaining half into thin slices and toss with fresh chunks of coconut, some lime juice and a little maple syrup for a tropical fruit salad.
