Pear, Cacao & Ginger Smoothie

Sweet pear and spicy ginger are perfect flavour pals, and in this smashing smoothie they hop in a blender with creamy banana, a chocolatey pinch of raw cacao powder and a cool glug of tiger nut drink.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 pears
- 1 banana
- 1cm slice of ginger
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 330ml tiger nut drink

Step by step this way

Quarter the pears, then slice out the cores. Roughly chop the pears and add them to your blender. Peel and break in the banana. Cut a 1cm slice of ginger and add it to the blender.

Tip in 1 tbsp raw cacao powder and pour in 330ml tiger nut drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothies). Drop in a few ice cubes and blend till smooth. Taste and add a little more fresh ginger if you think it needs it, then whizz again. Pour into a couple of glasses and serve.
