Blueberry Spice Swirl

Sweet bouncing blueberries mix it up with creamy banana and a dash of nutty sunflower seeds in this super-duper smoothie. Mildly spiced with fragrant cardamom and blitzed with creamy brown rice drink for smooth sipping.

Ingredients you'll need
- 125g blueberries
- 2 bananas
- 2 cardamom pods
- 25g sunflower seeds
- 330ml brown rice drink

- A few ice cubes
You'll need

- Measuring jug
Step by step this way
- 1.
Tip the blueberries into your blender. Peel and break in the bananas.

Use a pestle and mortar, or the bottom of a jam jar, to open the cardamom pods. Discard the green papery husks and add the cardamom seeds to the blender. Tip in the sunflower seeds.

Pour in 330ml brown rice drink (save the rest of the carton for this week’s other smoothies). Add a handful of ice cubes and blitz till creamy and smooth. Pour into a couple of glasses and serve.
