Ingredients you'll need
- 2 bananas
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 100g baby leaf spinach
- A handful of mint, leaves only
- 300ml almond milk

- A cupful of ice
Step by step this way

Chop the bananas (see our tip about freezing them before blending) and pop into your blender with 1 tsp cocoa powder, spinach and mint leaves.Pour in the almond milk. Add a cupful of ice and blend till smooth. Taste and add more cocoa for an extra chocolatey hit. Blend again.

Freeze me, freeze me, freeze me baby
If you want to get ahead, freeze your chopped bananas for at least 4 hours before blitzing them with the other smoothie ingredients, leaving out the ice. If you leave out the almond milk, then this makes a sweet alternative to ice cream.
