Ingredients you'll need
- 2 carrots
- 1 mango
- 1 orange
- 5 cardamom pods
- 330ml almond milk
From your kitchen
- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Trim and grate the carrots (no need to peel), then scoop them into a blender. Peel the mango and slice the juicy flesh off the stone. Roughly chop the flesh and add them to the blender. Slice the skin and white pith off the orange, then rough chop it. Add to the blender.

Put 5 cardamom pods in a pestle and mortar and crush to break them open. Shake out the black seeds, discard the green papery skins and then roughly grind the seeds to just crush them. No pestle and mortar? Use a small bowl and a jam jar or the end of a rolling pin.
- 3.
Add the cardamom seeds to the fruit. Give the almond milk a shake to make sure it is well mixed, then pour 300ml into the blender. Add a few ice cubes and blitz for a few mins till smooth. Serve straight away.
