Magical Mango Shake

This tropical smoothie is guaranteed to jump start your day. We start with sweet mango and add mineral-rich spinach, a zing of lemony vit C and a healthy thwack of cayenne to get your motor running.

Ingredients you'll need
- 1 mango
- 1 lemon
- A small pinch of cayenne pepper
- 330ml almond milk
- 100g baby leaf spinach
From your kitchen
- A large cupful of ice
Step by step this way

Peel the mango and slice the flesh off the stone. Discard the stone. Peel the lemon and halve it. Flick out any pips.

Add the mango and lemon flesh to a blender. Add the spinach and a small pinch of cayenne. Take care – the cayenne is very spicy. Pour in 330ml almond milk. Add a large cupful of ice. Blend till smooth and creamy.

Hey Mango^ Mango a little hard? Pop it in a paper bag with one of the bananas we’ve sent you and it will help ripen the mango. You can make the smoothie with the mango if it is still firm.
