This is one fiery pick-me-up of a smoothie, packing plenty of warming ginger heat, fresh spinach and zesty lemon into a delicious drink.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 apples
  • 2 celery sticks
  • A thumb of ginger
  • 100g baby leaf spinach
  • 300ml maple water
From your kitchen
  • A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

    Slice the skin and white pith from the lemon and discard it. Roughly chop the lemon flesh and flick out any pips. Quarter the apples and slice out the cores. Roughly chop the apples, celery and ginger.

    Pop everything in your blender with the spinach. Pour in the maple water and add a few ice cubes. Blend till smooth.
