Honey Cherry Ice Crush

Oh honey, honey, have we got a seasonal treat for you: ripe ruby-coloured cherries make their summer debut in this sweetie of a smoothie with a stellar supporting cast including tingly fresh mint, creamy banana and a cooling splash of oat drink.

Ingredients you'll need
- 250g cherries
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp honey
- A handful of mint, leaves only
- 330ml oat drink

- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Halve the cherries and scoop out the stones. Tumble the cherries into your blender. Peel the banana and break it into the blender. Spoon in 1 tbsp honey (you can add more, once blended, if you like). Add the mint leaves.

Pour in 330ml oat drink and add a handful of ice cubes. Whizz till smooth, taste and add a dash more honey if you think it needs it. Whizz again, if you think it needs it. Pour into a couple of glasses and serve.
