- 2 bananas
- 1 orange
- A thumb of turmeric
- 100g baby leaf spinach
- 330ml almond milk
- 35g cashews
- A few ice cubes
- 1.
Peel and chop the bananas into chunks (see our tip, below, for freezing them before adding to your smoothie). Peel the orange and roughly chop it. Roughly chop the turmeric. Add them all to a blender with the spinach, cashews and a few ice cubes (if not using frozen bananas). Pour in 330ml almond milk. Whizz together till smooth.

Nice & freezy
For an extra creamy smoothie, freeze the bananas the night before you want to make the smoothie. Break them into the blender and follow the recipe, but leave out the ice. The frozen bananas will chill the smoothie and give it a rich and smooth consistency. - Tip
A nice long soak
If you have time, soak the cashews in water overnight. Drain, rinse and add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Soaking makes them easier to blend and may make them easier to digest.
