Frozen Banana Lassi

Here's a lassi that's yogurt free. Instead, your frozen bananas plump up the volume. It's spicy, fruity and refreshing all at once.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 2 bananas
  • A thumb of ginger
  • 1 pear
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • A pinch of cinnamon
Step by step this way

    Peel your bananas. Chop them and place in a metal bowl. Pop them in freezer for at least an hour. Peel and chop the ginger. Peel, core and finely dice the pear. When ready to make your smoothie put all the veg into a high speed blender. Add a pinch or two of turmeric and cinnamon and a glass of ice cold water. Blitz.
