Fig, Banana & Spinach Swirl

A velvety blend of bananas and spinach gives this smoothie a wonderfully creamy, rich texture. The sweetness of dried figs and a gently spicy pinch of nutmeg take things to the next flavour level.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 2 bananas
  • 50g dried figs
  • 50g baby leaf spinach
  • ¼ nutmeg
  • 300ml maple water

  • A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

    Peel the bananas and break them into your blender. Trim the woody ends off the dried figs, roughly chop the figs and add them to the blender. Tuck in the baby leaf spinach. Grate in around ¼ of the nutmeg.

    Drop in a few ice cubes and pour in 300ml maple water. Blitz till smooth and well combined. Pour into glasses and grate over a little more nutmeg to serve.
