- 4 pears
- 50g dried figs
- 125g vanilla flavoured coconut yogurt
- A cupful of ice
Quarter the pears and slice out the cores. Chop the pears into small chunks. Snip off the woody ends from the figs. Roughly chop the figs.Add both to the blender with the coconut yogurt and a cupful of ice. Whizz till smooth. Scoop into bowls, or trickle in a little water to make a more drinkable smoothie.
Pear skin is packed with nutrients. The more powerful blenders will break the skin down, so it's fine to leave it on but you can peel the pears first if you prefer.
