Coconut Grapefruit Drink

Refreshingly tart pink grapefruit meets subtly sweet coconut water and creamy banana to make a tropically transporting smoothie with a pinch of Demerara sugar crunch and a bit of bite from coconut flakes.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 grapefruit
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp demerara sugar
- 15g coconut flakes
- 250ml coconut water
From your kitchen
- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way
- 1.
Slice the skin and white pith from the grapefruit. Roughly chop the flesh and add to your blender. Peel and break in the banana. Tip in 1 tbsp Demerara sugar and half the coconut flakes.

Pour the coconut water into the blender and add a handful of ice cubes. Blend, pour into glasses, top with the remaining coconut flakes and serve.
