Clementine & Goji Berry Swirl

Seasonal clementines star in this fabulous fruity number, blitzed with creamy banana, tart goji berries and the toffee sweetness of Medjool dates to make a satisfying, sunset-coloured smoothie.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 4 clementines
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 medjool dates
  • 15g goji berries
  • 330ml Ultimate Almond Drink

  • A few ice cubes

Step by step this way

    Slice the tops and bottoms off the clementines with a small, sharp knife. Work the knife around the edges of the clementines to remove as much peel and white pith as possible. Toss the peeled clementines into your blender.

    Peel and break in the bananas. Use your thumb to crush the dates onto a chopping board and remove the stones. Roughly chop the dates and add to the blender. Tip in the goji berries.

    Pour in 330ml Ultimate Almond Drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothies). Add a handful of ice cubes and blend till smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

  • Tip

    Freeze for fabulousness
    Turn your smoothie into a cool, thick shake by freezing the bananas at least 6 hrs before blending. Peel them and cut into chunks, then pop in an airtight bag or container and freeze. Add the frozen banana pieces to your smoothie as normal, but leave out the ice cubes at the end. Blitz till rich and creamy.
