Chai Apple Crunch

A rich, gently spiced smoothie thanks to the mix of sweet bananas and chai-spiced mylk drink, with an extra kick from fresh ginger, crisp juiciness from apples and, of course, a lovely crunch from nutty pumpkin seeds.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2cm slice of ginger
- 1 banana
- 2 apples
- 25g pumpkin seeds
- 330ml chai mylk drink

- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Peel a 2cm-thick slice of ginger and grate or finely chop it. Cut the apples into quarters and slice out the cores. Slide the apples and ginger into your blender. Peel the banana and break it into the blender. Sprinkle in most of the pumpkin seeds.

Pour in the chai mylk drink and add a handful of ice cubes. Whizz till smooth. Pour the smoothie into a couple glasses and top with the reserved pumpkin seeds to serve.
