Carrot & Walnut Smoothie

Let them have cake, we say, and drink it. Blitz together sweet carrots and maple water with juicy pears, the toasty taste of walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon for all the flavours of a carrot cake in one delicious drink.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 pears
  • 35g walnut halves
  • A pinch or 2 of cinnamon
  • 300ml maple water

  • A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

    Trim, scrub and chop the carrots. Quarter the pears and slice out the cores and seeds. Roughly chop the pears (no need to peel them unless you want to). Pop the carrots and pears in a blender.

    Tip the walnut halves into the blender. Add a pinch of cinnamon. Pour in 300ml maple water and add a few ice cubes. Blitz till smooth. Pour into two glasses and dust with a little more cinnamon to serve.
