Blueberry, Cashew & Orange Smoothie

Wake up to this fresh and fruity smoothie that gets its dairy-free creaminess from cashews. Starring juicy oranges, apple and sweet blueberries, and a splash of rich oat drink.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 2 oranges
  • 125g blueberries
  • 35g cashews
  • 1 apple
  • 330ml oat drink

  • A few ice cubes

Step by step this way

    Slice the skin from the oranges and discard it. Pop the oranges into your blender with the blueberries and cashews (see our tip about soaking the cashews ahead of time).

    Cut the apple into quarters. Slice out the core. Add the apple to the blender.

    Pour in 330ml oat drink (save the rest for this week’s other smoothie recipes) and add some ice cubes. Whizz till smooth and creamy.

  • Tip

    A nice long soak
    If you have time, soak the cashews in water overnight. Drain, rinse and add to the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Soaking makes them easier to blend and may make them easier to digest.
