Banana & Turmeric Blaster

                    A creamy smoothie that will set you up for the day thanks to a mix of energy-rich bananas, friendly bacteria-boosting kefir, omega-packed sunflower seeds and a little pep of fresh turmeric.

                    Ingredients you'll need
                - 2 bananas
 - A thumb of turmeric
 - 25g sunflower seeds
 - ½ tsp cinnamon
 - 50g baby leaf spinach
 - 250ml kefir
 
From your kitchen
                    - A few ice cubes
 
Step by step this way
                    - 1.
Hull the strawberries and pop them in your blender. Put the cardamom pods in a pestle and mortar and bash to open up the pods. Discard the green papery skins and grind the seeds to a fine powder. No pestle and mortar? Use a small bowl and the bottom of a jam jar or the end of a rolling pin to crush the seeds.

Add the cardamom seeds to the strawberries and spoon in the Greek style yogurt. Pour in 250ml cold water and add a few ice cubes. Blitz for a few mins till smooth.

Pour the lassi into 2 tall glasses and dust the top of each one with a little ground cinnamon just before serving (keep the rest of the cinnamon for your Banana & Turmeric Blaster).
