Banana, Spinach & Almond Smoothie

Nice and smoothly does it. This creamy smoothie is full of rich nuttiness from organic flaked almonds blended with sweet pear and banana, and a splash of refreshing maple water.

Ingredients you'll need
- 1 pear
- 2 bananas
- 35g flaked almonds
- 50g baby leaf spinach
- 300ml maple water

- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Quarter the pear, slice out the core and seeds, then roughly chop the pear. Add it to a blender. Peel and break the bananas into the blender. Tip in the flaked almonds.

Tuck the baby leaf spinach into the blender. Pour in the maple water and add a few ice cubes. Blitz for a few mins till smooth, then serve.

Extra toasty
For a stronger nutty flavour, tip the flaked almonds into a dry frying pan and toast them for 2-3 mins till they're golden brown, then add them to the blender and follow the recipe.
