Banana & Sesame Smoothie

This swoon-worthy smoothie is crammed with creamy bananas, toffee-sweet dates and nutty sesame, delicately spiced with cinnamon and blended with almond drink for a rich, smooth energy boost.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 bananas
- 2 Medjool dates
- 25g sesame seeds
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 250ml almond milk

- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Peel and chop the bananas. Halve the dates and discard the stones. Pop the bananas and dates into your blender.

Add the sesame seeds to the blender with a pinch of cinnamon, and pour in the almond drink.

Tumble in a handful of ice cubes (or see our tip below for a creamier way to cool your smoothie). Blitz till smooth. Pour into glasses and top with another pinch of cinnamon to serve.

Get ahead
For a creamier, colder smoothie, place your chopped bananas into a freezerproof bag or tub. Freeze for at least 6 hours to overnight before blending. You may need to add a little water when you're blending your smoothie to get the right consistency.
