Banana, Date & Sesame Smoothie

This swoon-worthy smoothie is crammed with creamy bananas, toffee-sweet dates and the nuttiness of sesame, delicately spiced with cinnamon and blended with almond milk for a cool energy boost.

Ingredients you'll need
- 2 bananas
- 2 Medjool dates
- 25g sesame seeds
- 330ml almond milk
- A pinch of cinnamon

- A few ice cubes
Step by step this way

Peel and chop the bananas. Halve the dates and discard the stones. Add to your blender with the sesame seeds, almond milk and a pinch of cinnamon.

Add a few ice cubes (see our get ahead tip for an easy, freezy alternative). Blend together till smooth. Taste and add more cinnamon if you like.

For a creamier, colder smoothie, place your chopped bananas into a freezerproof bag or tub. Freeze for at least 6 hrs to overnight before blending. You may need to add a little water when you’re blending your smoothie to get the right consistency.
