Avo, Ginger & Nut Shake

This gorgeously green thick shake is velvety smooth thanks to the combination of creamy avocado, rich cashews and sweet banana. A touch of spice and a splash of hazelnut drink brings them together to make a super smoothie.

Ingredients you'll need
  • 1 avocado
  • 35g cashews
  • 1 banana
  • A pinch of ground ginger
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 250ml hazelnut drink

Step by step this way

    Halve the avocado and remove the stone. Scoop out the flesh into your blender. Tip in the cashews. Peel the banana and break it in. Add a generous pinch each of ground ginger and cinnamon.

    Pour in the hazelnut drink. Add a handful of ice cubes and blend till smooth. Pour into glasses and serve topped with another pinch of ground ginger and cinnamon.

    Ripe for the blending
    When you unpack your box, pop the avocado into your fruit bowl. Let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 days, and that will help it ripen – if there are bananas or kiwi fruit in the bowl with it, even better. You’ll know the avocado is ripe when it just gives when you gently press it.
