- 2 carrots
- 2 apples
- 2 oranges
- 1cm slice of turmeric
- 330ml tiger nut drink
- A few ice cubes
- 1.
Trim the carrots, roughly chop them and add them to the blender (no need to peel, although you can if you prefer). Quarter the apples and slice out the seeds and cores. Roughly chop the apples and add them to the blender.
- 2.
Slice the skin and white pith off the oranges. Use a small, sharp knife to slice the flesh out of the papery membranes. Add the juicy orange segments to the blender. Squeeze the membranes over the blender to squeeze out any juice.
- 3.
Slice a 1cm thick slice off the turmeric. Peel and grate it into the blender (see our note below about using turmeric).
- 4.
Pour 330ml tiger nut drink into the blender and add a few ice cubes. Blitz till combined and smooth. Taste and grate in a little more turmeric if you think it needs it, and blitz again. Pour into 2 glasses and serve.
