Keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours after opening. Suitable for home freezing - freeze immediately upon receipt, can be stored frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge, once defrosted consume within 24 hours.

Pat dry. Season lightly with salt and pepper. (Optional: Lightly dust with flour for a crisp finish.)
Add 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter to a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Place the plaice in the pan. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side (they’re thin, so they cook fast).
Flesh should be cooked through and turn opaque and flake easily.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with herbs.

Oven Bake: Preheat to 200°C (400°F). Place tranches on a tray, drizzle with oil, season, and bake for 4–6 minutes. Flesh should be cooked through and turn opaque and flake easily.
