The Suma story starts in Leeds in 1975 when Reg Taylor and a few other wholefood boffins got together to create their own co-op. Flash forward a good few years and Suma are one rather well respected bunch. Storage & prep

Keep in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened store in an airtight container. No pre-soaking needed. Rinse well, add plenty of cold water and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until tender, drain and add to your favourite recipe.
